Dynamic identification and vibration serviceability assessment of a wooden cable‐stayed footbridge

چکیده
Abstract This paper discusses the dynamic characterization of a 3 spans wooden cable‐stayed footbridge newly built in Italy. The is 235 m long and consists 2‐girder deck. edge are simply supported, while mid one (about 150 long) sustained by 16 stays linked to 2 pillars. Ambient vibration tests operational modal analyses performed identify global behaviour structure 17 stable modes identified frequency range 0‐6 Hz. Moreover, serviceability assessed performing situ pedestrian load following protocols provided Hivoss Sètra technical guidelines, verifying recorded accelerations with maximum ones suggested codes (fib bulletin 32 EN1990:2002).
